Privacy Policy and Cookies
We are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU law on data protection and privacy) and transparent on how we collect and use information of our visitors.
Our Privacy Policy is simple:
What we collect: We receive and store your name and email address.
Why we need it: We make announcements about colloquiums and relevant content updates via email.
Why we don’t collect more information: We believe that the collected data should be minimal. The email/name are used only for the announcements via email (so-called email marketing) and no other data are needed.
How we store the data: The Wix.com platform is used to store the database of names and emails. The data storage is ensured to be on secure servers behind a firewall.
Sharing policies: The collected data (names, emails) are never shared with third parties.
Your rights: You can unsubscribe from mailing list at any point. If you want to access, correct, amend or delete your name/email (or if you do not want us to use it anymore), you can always contact us at admin@electrochemicalcolloquium.com.
Can the policies change: We do not foresee changes to the Privacy Policy. However, if we plan to make changes to Privacy Policy, we will notify you about it in advance.
If you do not want to sign up for email alerts, you can follow our updates on YouTube and Twitter.
